The Historic Buildings in Bath include the Assembly Rooms, the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms and the Guildhall.

The Assembly Rooms serve as Bath’s premier conference venue, providing a prestigious setting for up to 500 delegates. This stunning Grade I listed building is also perfect for exhibitions, AGMs and gala dinners. The building dates back to 1771 and is still adorned with its original Whitefriars crystal chandeliers and exquisite portraits by Gainsborough and Hoare within its interconnected rooms.

The Fashion Museum within the building, and home to one of the world’s finest collection of fashionable dress, is an inspiring venue for a drinks reception.

The Pump Room and Roman Baths are situated in the very heart of this World Heritage City and are amongst the most elegant and atmospheric venues in the country. They remain the social hub of the city offering a stunning venue for a gala dinner or reception.

It is hard to imagine a more magical setting for a dinner than the Terrace, overlooking the torchlit Great Bath with its steaming waters. Dating back nearly 2000 years, few venues can surpass the unique ambience of the Roman Baths for a drinks reception. The stunning Georgian Pump Room can accommodate up to 180 for a seated dinner and there are also two more intimate period rooms, with views across to Bath Abbey, that are available for private hire.

Situated in the city centre, the Guildhall with its imposing façade, is a masterpiece of neo-classical decoration. With sumptuous plasterwork and gilding and three stunning crystal chandeliers, the Banqueting Room in the Guildhall is one of the most impressive Georgian interiors in Bath. This room can accommodate up to 360 people for a conference or 200 for a dinner. Several smaller rooms are available within the building for break-out rooms, exhibitions or receptions.
