Great choice of venues both central and outside of Bath
•Central venues
Bath boasts some impressive large venues suitable for an Association conference including the – the stunning Grade 1 listed building is the perfect setting for a conference for up to 500 delegates and is also great for exhibitions, AGM’s and gala dinners. The Assembly Rooms offer flexible space for conferencing with capacity for up to 500 delegates in the magnificent Ball Room. The Tea Room seats up to 250 delegates theatre style, and the Octagon 120 people. Up to 310 people may dine in one room.
The Guildhall can accommodate up to 360 delegates and several rooms are available for small meetings. The sumptuous Banqueting Room can accommodate up to 200 people for dinner.
Bath Pavilion can cater for up to 1000 people. Whether you’re looking for lavish dining with a Vegas theme, casino tables and a live band, or a fun-filled party with buffet and a disco, this venue is very flexible. A stunning sandstone building dating from 1930, Bath Pavilion is a multi-use leisure venue with a stage (15.2m x 8m x 5m), flat floor access, friendly professional staff, it is easily accessible from Bath Spa railway station and offers some parking.
There are some great locations just outside of Bath which give conference organisers the opportunity to hold their event and accommodate their delegates all at the same place.
•Outside of the city
Longleat Forest lies in a spectacular landscape with 100-year old giant redwoods in the Wiltshire countryside, yet has fast rail access to London.
‘The Venue’, Longleat’s complex of purpose-built conference suites for business clients, lends itself to different sizes of meetings and is especially popular for themed events. The versatile space can provide the perfect base for many conferencing needs ranging from a 450 theatre style conference to a dinner dance for 300 delegates with the potential of having up to 6 additional syndicate spaces. The peaceful setting provides an ideal environment to stimulate, motivate and inspire delegates.
The University of Bath is another fantastic venue for both conference facilities and accommodation with easy transport access in and out of the city for delegates to explore in their free time. The Claverton Rooms can host up to 250 people for an evening dinner and there are 350 new state of the art bedrooms onsite so conference organisers have the option of keeping delegates onsite throughout their event.
